First (well actually second) day of school!
So, 9AM classes. I figured since back in the days of high school having 0 period every day for four years might've conditioned me for waking up early/not sleeping at all (since hey, sleeping at 4 and waking up at 6 to go to school was kind of normal for me), I'd at least be able to manage.
.....Nope. College has made me weak. College has spoiled me with long 6~8 hour sleeping times. OTL College has also made me incredibly nocturnal, which means my sleep rhythm is completely reversed from what it should really be.
ㅇㅈㅇ;;
Well, as for classes, they all seem to be going pretty well~ My Chinese teacher is super adorable and threatens troublemakers with the punishment of having to sing a Chinese song in class in front of everyone. I really like this class, despite it being at an hour when I'm not really functioning, and I really wish I were more awake during that hour.
My German class has the same teacher as the last quarter I had German; many inside jokes among us from that quarter were had, with the new people going "huh?!". 8Db There's also this one grad student in my class who is old enough to remember the fall of the Berlin Wall--I was kind of surprised to see someone so old in a class of mostly 3rd/4th years. (he also has a really gay hairstyle that makes him look like some kind of evil overlord with a penchant for ~fabulous~. I can't look at him with a straight face, someone help me fffffffft /dies)
The German 150 class is a literature class that I'm kind of afraid for. I'm taking it so I can get into the major, but I'm kind of intimidated by the people in that class. There are quite a number of those "I read obscure books and study foreign literature so I am better than you" snobs/hipsters, so I'm kind of worried if I'll survive this class. =____=;; The teacher is really nice, though; I had her for my first quarter of German. It's nice to see her again, she was really helpful.
I haven't had Linguistics yet because it's Mondays and Wednesdays only, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm kind of a language geek, ahahahahahah 8D;;
I'm really tired. Last night was the Hansori new member barbecue and we weren't expecting so many people to come. I know lots of people came just for the free food, but I really hope some new members stick around. 휴___휴
(also, hey C2. I might take a longer break than I thought because I've been kind of failing at playing Norge and HK properly. I think my muse ran off. Whoops. OTL)
