Firstly, yes I know I haven't updated my blog on roisin's first xmas or of my trip to Ireland. Both were good with the exception of my poor eldest getting a really nasty viral infection and he temp hit over 104, while I was sponging her down and breaking her fever, I caught it myself. I was/am very ill as Herne will tell you.
PS thanks hon for texting me through the delerium.
I will get back to e-mails as soon as possible, currently barely able to sit up for 10 mins at a time.
Now the english question. I don't know if its the fever or not but I am struggling with my english at the moment which is very unusual for me. I am currently reading 3 books, one japanese history, one king henry VIII and a book of short stories by Edgar Allen Poe.
Now the word in it's general context is fine, howling shrieking sea etc well when describing the cliffs he uses "lines of horribly black and beetling cliff, whose character of gloom was but the more forcibly illustrated by the surf which reared high etc"
Beetling, thats the one I can't figure an exact meaning for, help?
