so... i have a delema of a sort.
a door just opened up for me and i have this great opportunity to work with Lisa North if all things go well. some of you may know her as the new host for HGTV's "Resturant Makeover". she's a great person with a bubbly personality but more importantly, she's a superstar designer who i can learn A LOT from. not only that but it'll look great on the resume. however, the position is project based for the next 2 months with minimal pay but room for bigger and brighter things if all goes well. she's looking for a reliable assistant who can take on a few projects on her behalf since she's really busy now with the tv show. this position would be ideal for me since i love to work on the go... i'm really not a behind the desk office girl! but i really need the money right now with the wedding knocking on my door, plus there's no guarentees as a contract employee.

on the flipside, i also another option of going full time with a great architectural/development firm that has more security, a competitive salary, room for advancement but its in the office, more conservative, where i won't be able to flex my creativity as much as i could with Lisa. the firm just opened up a new office in the east end where i am and is looking for someone to help run the place as well as work on show rooms for their new condos. i'll be working with contractors, designers, suppliers etc but
with very little input if any to the design process. with this job, as much as it is great in pay and status, i might just get sick of design. i'm a girl who needs change.

what do i do? which do i go with? i meet with the firm tomorrow and Lisa on friday.
