I survived my first night at work and it wasn't too bad at all. I was more scared getting to bed than when I tried to fall asleep. ^^

Lol what, you're going to be a football fan now? :DD The next big thing is Euro 2012 - European Championship. Until then, when the season starts, there will be the Champions League and Europa League, but those are for different clubs, not for national teams.

No... I just want more sports events to Hetalia fangirl over! :D Although football is ok as long as you don't have to watch the games... the cheering part and complaining about the referees!

We have Allsvenskan here for the Swedish clubs. Oh joy. o__0

You should have watched Winter Olympics then :DD

Lol, that's half of the fun, but I like watching the games, too :DD

Well, there is not much of a Hetalia twist to it, if all teams are Swedish... In Champions League and Europa League the teams are from all over Europe, at least.

I didn't realize how fun it was to mix Hetalia with sports and other events then. I looked at some Olympics!Canada fanart, but that's pretty much it. D:

Oooo, Finnkampen. A Sweden vs Finland athletics?/sports event held every year. They could be fighting for seme status!
But I guess those Leagues will have to do for now. Perhaps.

Lol, well, at least you'll be fully prepared for the next Olympics :DD

Finland is that little dude in a sailor hat? If it's so, I think it's pretty obvious he won't be the seme :DD

If something cooler than that happens, I'll let you know :DD

I am! Bwahaha! :D Thi year I was really surprised to see a picture from the OP ceremony in the newspaper the day after, I had managed to miss it completely. ^^;

No, that should be Norway! Although Finland is tiny... but, he's much tougher than he looks. Or.. a bit. While Sweden looks intimidating but is really shy. So you never know.

You do that! :D

Lol, it happens to me sometimes, too. If it were not for news headlines right on the same page where my e-mail is, I wouldn't know what happens in the world at all.

Well, they could switch. Toss the coin maybe? :DD

Sure will :DDD

I always try to keep up with news, I read 2-3 newspaper a day at home... but I stay away from the sports section! :D

That sounds democratic! ^^ But would they use a Swedish coin or a Euro? O:

Lol, I don't - news in general make me depressed. Sports and entertainment are the only bits of newspapers I read, if I even bother to read them :D

I thought Sweden had Euros? I wonder what money Finland has...

I don't like watching the news, but reading about them allows me to keep a cynical viewpoint on the world and humans in general! :D

Finland has Euros.. we've voted against it in Sweden so we still use our Swedish kronor. My currency hurts whenever I need to exchange it!

Hmm, maybe I should try that - I've always wanted to have a cynical view on things :DD

Interesting, I had no idea... They should try tossing some other coin so nobody would have an unfair advantage. Or just take turns at being seme, that's the easiest approach. But then they'd have to determine who gets to be seme first :DD

Yes! And reading the news ensures that you can never regain faith in humanity again. Ahem. Great joy!

I think we're more hostile to the EU up here than in central Europe/what we call the continent. England seems to share this with us. ^^; But yes, a franc perhaps! :D

Lol, that's kind of sad actually. Why can't there be only positive news....

Too bad, I like to pretend EU is one big happy family :D The Swiss franc, you mean? Lol, the most neutral currency ever :DD

They probably don't sell as well. Unless it's gossip. And you do have more control over your citizens if they're scared. :/

Vash probably won't let them have one for free, but I'm sure they can exchange an old coin for some Euros. I want to like the EU, I love the idea of a united and happy Europe but it doesn't really seem to work as well as it should. D:

Urgh, thinking about it is already enough to make one cynical :(

Lol, that would be very much like him :D

Yeah, it doesn't... But maybe it will in the future, who knows.

BTW, you wanted international sports events? There is the European Athletics Championships starting from July 26, so that might be interesting, too.

The system works! *nod*

Yes, unless we are, or take over Norway it's probably better to be in the union.

Oooo, that's actually watchable as well. I expect great things from this now. Or not. Where is it held?
