Rather Bad: Argh. Ceramics. Both versions of the first project have been fired; about 85% of the second version survived intact and epoxy is not terribly easy to work with :/. I've worked too slowly on the second project, causing severe cracks; the critique is tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. Granted, he's seen the issues I've been having with it and I went in tonight and did some prep work for the second version of it, but I just know the critque will be brutal tomorrow X_X...I have extreme anxiety when I think about this class, but I know it'll all come through by the end of the semestre.
Good/Bad: Other classes are going well, but there be papers coming up soon >_<...
Good: If you get a chance to do some driving, the trees along highway 157 up near Moulton are all pretty with fall colours :) .
Bad: we've had a rather bad clog in our tub since Friday :(
Rather Good: Our dorm had a contest asking us to decorate our door, displaying our heritage/beliefs; Josh and I made this awesome Scottsman with a claymore and won the contest. The prize was a $50 gift certificate to the UAB bookstore, where we bought mostly schools supplies and snacks.
Good: If you're a One Piece fan, there's mad-crazy stuff going on right now in the manga in Japan; seriously.
Bad: I burn-out rather quickly on albums: The Killers' new album, Sam's Town, is no exception; it's really good, but I could go several months without hearing it and be quite content.
Good: Also, this is extremely hilarious:
