Female ninjas, or kunoichis, have a very long history. In medieval Japan kunoichis would infiltrate the enemy posing as sweet helpless maidens. They were also trained in the secret art of ninja seduction, now lost to posterity. Favourite kunoichi tricks included the bunch of flowers/dagger combo, the razor-edged fan, and the weapon concealed behind a large cat. The cat itself could also serve as a throwing weapon. It was probably trained to be placid when carried but lethal when thrown. Training a feline ninja can backfire, though, as a certain hard-as-nails black belt found out recently when he was hospitalised by his pussycat...
