TOP sat at his desk, staring into space. How long has it been since GD left? 3 years? For TOP, it felt like an eternity. Not once in those 3 years, did TOP find himself thinking about someone else besides GD. Even when he was working, the memories of GD would be at the back of his mind, threatening to resurface at the earliest moment he let his guard down. TOP missed his little angel. He missed GD's bright smiles and hugs. But these few days were worse for him. The yearning to see GD were stronger and more desperate. Images of GD plagued his mind every second. TOP buried his head between his hands.
"Stop it.. He probably already forgot you.." he chided himself.
"After all, he has never contacted you since he left.." But yet, even though he often told himself this, he couldn't help but believe that his GD would keep his promise and come back to him. His hand subconsciously moved to his neck, playing with the ring that hung, concealed, under his favourite vest.
"Ah.. TOP!! Chief is looking for you!!" TOP sighed, reluctantly retreating from his recollection of GD.
"Thanks, Seungri hyung." Seungri flounced off, whistling.
"You're welcome~ I'm off to find Dae~ Cyaz" Seungri's lover, Daesung, was a 23 year old forensic scientist.
Once again, a wave of memories invaded TOP's mind, and he wished that GD was here with him.
"Sir." The man rose from his large armchair. A teenager stood behind him, hands tucked in his pockets.
"TOP... we have a new member joining us today... seeing that he is currently the same age as you when you joined, and that both you and him excelled in the special ops training... I'm putting you in charge of him."
"TOP, meet G-Dragon." TOP gasped inaudibly. Could it be...?
The skinny teenager beamed at him, showing off his pearly whites.
"Yo~!" TOP shook his head. No... It was probably all just a coincidence..
"TOP, take care of him. That's all, you're both dismissed."
"This is where we work." Stacks of paper littered the floor.
"Sorry for the mess.. We're normally quite busy, so we don't have time to tidy up." TOP looked at G-Dragon's down-casted expression. He patted G-Dragon's shoulder reassuringly.
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it." TOP noticed G-Dragon stare at his hand, his eyes taking on a sorrowful look.
"Come on, I'll take you to the other departments." TOP pulled back, taking a few paces forward. G-Dragon remained at the same spot, giving off a dejected aura.
"G-Dragon?" G-Dragon looked up, eyes hurt.
"Hyung...." TOP's heart skipped a beat. Could it be...? he questioned again.
"Did you forget me..?" TOP flew back, pulling GD into a tight embrace. How could he have asked such a ridiculous question??
"... Idiot... I missed you, GD... welcome back." GD's eyes were moist with emotion. He shut them, inhaling the familiar scent of his hyung.
The chain-bounded ring rolled out, glinting in the orange rays of the setting sun.
"Hyung... I'm back."
(A/N: WHOO!!! ITS 6:16am!!! hahaha!!! XD in case i didn't make myself clear enough, GD was looking for the ring when he was looking at TOP's hand. Also, GD was hurt because he thought that TOP forgot him, and also because TOP acted like he didn't know GD. OH!! one more thing.. Seungri and Daesung...[for some reason i always thought they'd make a cute couple.. lol] but they are older than TOp.. had to change their ages... i hope it doesn't matter too much)
