Pictar spam! I did some Alessa work last night since I got the boreds. So here's a step by step of me doing my makeup.

Thanks, now I'll have nightmares of an Alessa-fied Mugie chasing me through a burning hospital convention center. :[

And you're doing a wonderful job of it, as always!

Also kind of OT but not really because it's cosplu-related, I'm almost done with Nill's dress. But I need to know what to do with the back before I add the zipper. Did you figure out whether it would be better to have it open-backed or close-backed because of the wings?

Depends, how you are planning on doing the wings?

I'm honestly not sure, the only wings I've ever made were the ones for Fairy Paine, which are significantly different than Nill's would be. If you have any ideas, I'm more than open to hearing them! Otherwise I'll go hunt in the Cos.Com forums and see if I can find a tutorial to go off of.

Well the only wings I've made were made of a torn up umbrella, which I thought would work well for Nill since they're kind of small, you could just build them into the dress with a bit of a support system (or just kind of do what I did and pin them onto the bra of the wearer) inside the dress so you just need to zip her into her clothes and that'd be the end of it.

Also my wings looked like this: herpderp

I didn't really do much to mask the fact that they were made out of an eviscerated umbrella, but I think with a bit of shaping to round out the skeleton with some clay and some feathers, they'd be a good shape, and they're super lightweight so its not like any harnessing you'd HAVE to do would be really hardcore and need to support like, 40 pounds.

Why do you make such attractive faces.

That definitely looks doable! I'll have to find an old umbrella to play around with, but that seems like it'll work pretty well. I like the idea of just building them into the dress, too, it'd save a ton of trouble. Chances are I'll get lazy though and just attach them to Ashley's bra instead because that'd be a lot less hassle as far as construction is concerned. And that way she'd be able to wear the dress normally, because she says it's super cute and whatnot.

I'll keep you posted~!
