I've noticed something. In fanfiction, I seem to have a tendency to write my stories up until what seems to be a climax and leave the reader to imagine the aftermath, rather than actually writing it.

I've received reviews that seem to desire or at least anticipate conclusion, and while I may be misinterpreting them, perhaps I should heed them.

So. Should I keep doing what I am doing? That is, rather than explicitly illustrate things like Kinoc's reaction to the apple in the shoe prank or Lulu's reaction to her first summoner's death, should I let the reader envision these bits? In some cases, such as the latter, I let the known game-plot step in. In some others, the previously unwritten may be readdressed later in the story and thus, ultimately written.

Or would it be more satisfying to follow the entire swing of the moment and write the piece to an obvious conclusion?

While it's not likely that I will rewrite what has already been committed to the archives nor change what is planned in the partially written next chapter, feedback on this is likely to affect the way I write future chapters.
