Everything all right there, Weasleys? I know the news came as a bit of a shock, but your mother and I are prepared for this. Well, I think that your mother wants to have a few more lesson on more specific magic, but she could always hold her own quite well. Quite a woman your mother is, and I'm pleased to have her by my side in this.

I'm quite serious about this. Why wouldn't we be? I've been through it all twice before and... well, perhaps you could benefit from our experience. It's a thought.

And my age makes it harder for me to cast spells? To hunt Dark wizards? Ron, I did it before you were born, and I can still do it. So can your mother. We're not even close to 70 yet.

There is a lot more to being a hit wizard than running around physically, you know. And if you don't, you should. It's a challenge, and I was pleased that they accepted me back. Don't think they would have if they didn't think I could still keep up.

If you keep your head about you, and your mind one step ahead then the running is cut down quite a bit.

I'll be just as safe as I would be in the Burrow which might as well have a huge blood traitor target on it, Ronald Francis Weasley.

But I wanted to, Ron. I don't want to be protected, I want to protect.

I don't think I want to move aside and let the younger blokes get all the credit. I think I'll just have to steal some for myself.

I've never asked any of you to worry about your mother and I. We're the parents and you're the children. I do believe that you have things a bit backwards.

Well since this isn't completely bloody mental, I don't see how it compares, Ron.

My father was an Auror. There were a lot of things he did growing up that I thought were bloody mental, but he was my father and I didn't gainsay him.

And I'm a Hit Wizard. Two separate departments, Ron. You've no say in the matter.

I understand that you're upset. That you're worried. Your mother I and can take care of ourselves. I wouldn't let anything bad happen to her. I swear it.
