Thanks.

Mostly I do the Financial District, but also the Lower East Side (or "Immigrant New York" as the tour is inelegantly titled.)

a) a trip to Asbury Park is unlikely to make anyone feel better. however i have an intense desire to visit the place before it is condemmed in entirety. there are two reasons. the first is that my favourite King Crimson show was recorded there, and my favourite King Crimson improv is titled "Asbury Park". the second is the photologue on www.darkpassage.com

b) my close friend and musicking cohort Nathan Hahn wants a baritone ukelele real bad. it's the perfect companion for his "Banjo-lele".

Johnson actually makes a really cheap totally amusing bari-uke. It's not the most marvelous instrument in then world, but a good bari uke tends to be truckloads of money, sadly.

I also have a banjo-uke. It's all manner of fun.
