Of Bowie and Dreams

Over the weekend I went to visit my sister. While there I went to a coffee shop/ used bookstore. It was there that I found a copy of Magic Dance (from Labyrinth) on vinyl. I decided to buy it for my friend Marisa who is the biggest Labyrinth fan I know. She and I have in common the Bowie complex. But really, who in their right mind DOESN'T have a David Bowie complex.
That night, after buying the vinyl, I had the most interesting dream. In the dream Marisa was having a masquerade party (I recently watched the Royal Albert Hall 25th anniversary performance of The Phantom of the Opera. Thanks Netflix!) so Sho and I ( apparently he was my boyfriend) went shopping for costumes. It was then that we ran into none other than David Bowie! I was super excited and asked him to come to the party because I knew it would make Marisa beyond happy. He agreed and then we all set out for the party. Along the way we had to deal with crazy staircases like in the Escher room from the movie. Then we all got in a taxi and Bowie totally started hitting on me and I was going with it because it's Bowie. There is nothing to argue there. But then Sho was getting jealous so I stopped. We got to the party and Marisa was dressed in the dress from the ballroom scene in the movie. So I told Bowie to go dance with her. He does so DRESSED AS JARETH. He was wearing a mask though, so she couldn't see who he was. She was like, "Who are you? I don't think I invited you." So she took his mask off and freaked out
AND THEN I WOKE UP.
Honestly though... One of the most awesome dreams I've had. It ranks right up there with the Slayerette/X-Men School dream.
