The Prime Minister knows about magic, right? so what about the Queen? do you think she knows?

Why would that be usefull? Does she have any influence over the public that the wizards could use? *knows nothing about british politics*

All she really does is wave a lot, do charity work and give a speech on christmas day. Thats pretty much it nowadays. Oh, and she knights random people. I don't think she'd need to know at all but they might have told her just cos shes the Queen and she should know about her country. In the past though with like Queen Elizabeth 1, Henry the 8th and Queen Victoria etc they would have had to be informed in order to run the country properly.

Fudge said they only tell the Prime Minister, and the Prime Minister said he would never tell anther person as long as he lived.

The monarchy is just a figurehead now. I can see that they would make it that the monarch will know when they had power, but they haven't for a long time, so no real power, no knowledge...
