thats right! weekly updates! and each one garunteeded to have some thought provoking idea that paul is not allowed to answer cause he'll spoil the fun for everyone else! (paul can tell me over aim if he wants)
ok here i go.
...
...
ugh i have a cold.
meh, iono what to put here... i cant think with my head all clogged.
yup.
ok i guess ill just put this thing...
i was thinking about this topic after reading a bit of physics (and evidently what i came up with is similar to what a philosipher named hume said... he took my idea).
REALITY BASED ON PERCEPTION.
ok, i was reading about physics freshmen year, it went something like this:
there are two people floating out in space and there is no gravity and nothing else to use as a vantage point and both people are moving at a constant velocity toward each other (or one is moving and the other is staying put).
to person one, they are staying still and the other person is moving toward them. to person two, person one is moving and person two thinks that he is staying put.
so... who is right?
...
...
...
...
THEY BOTH ARE.
funny how that works, eh?
lets go over the evidence.
one or both of them is moving.
there are no vantage points.
through the eyes of person two, person one is the only one moving.
through the eyes of person one, person two is the only one moving.
so... thats all the evidence we have.
therefore it must be concluded that both of them are correct. all we know is that one of them is moving, and, because there are no vantage points, we must go off of what person one and person two says. we do not have enough to disprove person ones view, or person twos veiw... so what can we do? THERE IS NO EVIDENCE AGAINST ANY ONE OF THEM BUT THERE IS EVIDENCE SUPPORTING BOTH OF THEM. they both are correct!
hmm that may be kinda hard to understand cause i think i did a shitty job explaining. heres another example:
ok, to me, any person whom i have not seen or heard of does not exist.
like henry! before he came up here and i saw him, he did not exist, but once i met him he and his past existed. keep in mind this all from MY POINT OF VIEW. from henrys point of view, i did not exist until he met me. think about it.
reading over that i did a horrible job of trying to explain, but im too tired to fix it. i think ima sleep now and pray that my fucking cold goes away so we can have band practice.
