i just read a news article about a mother who gave her three month old baby meth. i just don't understand this world sometimes. i don't understand shitty people who hurt their children. if there is a hell, i hope there is a special place for people like that.

on a lighter note, two good friends of mine were also accepted into nursing school, so it will be nice to have people that i'm close to going through the same thing with me.
right now i'm feeling pretty content with life. things are not great everywhere, but i have this faith that in the future everything will work out for the best. lauren's boyfriend is going to rehab for a minimum of one year. we are hoping that she will leave him.
