Author's Notes: Totally inspired by their new song, so here's a short story since it's been long since I've worked on this series. ;D

Even if Hyunseung is insecure, even if he doesn't believe in himself, even if his heart is still wounded and a part of his memories would always be flashing the scene he wanted to forget the most, the low self-esteemed male threw all these negative things aside and decided that no matter how hard it was, no matter how much he will struggle in the future, how much he falls, he will pick himself up again. Because he knows, he believes, that his band mates, his admirers will always be there to lend him a hand and pull him up from whatever that is ruining his life.
He knew that by saying stuffs like, "I'm useless.", "I bring the whole group down." and those along the line would really make Junhyung and Kikwang upset and he didn't want that, they didn't deserve to be sad just because of him.
The light in his heart, his life might have been turned off before but the two of them had successfully turned it on again. The warmth they spread, the love they showered on him, was enough to make him realize how blessed he is to have them around. How blessed he is to feel loved.
Whenever he wanted to give up and run away, he would stop in his tracks and think. Think about how much support and strength Junhyung and Kikwang gave him, how much the rest of the Beast members suffered as well. And he decided that he shouldn’t be selfish. Slowly but surely, he is taking his first step. Because it’s always the insignificant minor changes that makes wonders in your life and this time, it’s going to make wonders in Hyunseung’s life.
Whatever shit life had given him before, whomever that had scarred his heart in the past, it doesn’t matter now anymore. He assured himself that he would raise himself up again no matter what. When the light shines over him and wakes him again, it will move his heart again. Now it really did. Like what’s mentioned, Junhyung and Kikwang had turned on the lights. No more feeling incompetent and more of becoming even better with a brand new mindset. It was all thanks to the two of them. He was always grateful towards them and it makes him sad that one day he would eventually hurt one of them but since it isn't time yet, he arrived at a conclusion that he should make sure the hurt will be minimized and live life to it's fullest.
Yes, he sure wanted nothing but a peaceful life chasing his dreams, but if it's Junhyung and Kikwang who makes his life less peaceful and more chaotic, I guess he's actually fine with it. He is definitely feeling brighter now.
And the lights go on again.
