(no subject)
sooo this was a very good valentine's day! especially because it tied in with joe and i's anniversary! because i got a digital camera!! it's really cute and small and takes decent pictures for the price joe told me (retard!) and actually i think it was a really really good buy. i also got sex filled chocolate (ommmmmmg) and a stuffed bear that i'm gonna cuddle with when joe is on night shifts and a stuffed unicorn because unicorns are my favorite animal!!! yay.
unfortunately my grandmother is in the hospital again and she was sleeping when i called, so i'm going to go visit her in the morning. but i got her some tulips, thanks to rucci of all people, and i'm excited about giving them to her. she broke her arm this time, somehow, i guess she fell or something. but since she's old and having all these treatments and whatnot right now they're keeping her in the hospital till... who knows what till. man! poor mommom is falling apart.
back to happy stuff! well, whatever. i have determined the true meaning to valentine's day. it's not to tell everyone you love them and blahblah, because you should do that everyday. the real meaning to valentine's day iiiisssss.... to tell your loved one "hey, i just want you to know, i love you no matter what, even if you get fat off this huge box of chocolates i gave you!!"... and THAT my friends, is why we designate ONE day a year to give candy, because if we just ran around all year willy nilly giving our girlfriends chocolate whenever they wanted, well then hell, everyone would end up with a buncha heifers! and that would, sadly, be a deal breaker for some relationships. so there you have it, the truth behind valentine's day.
