(no subject)
i did my good deed for the day. one of the gigposters crew had their cat attacked by the neighbors pitbull. the cat was on her property, the dog busted through the fence and grabbed the cat's leg and tried to pull it into his yard. the cat ended up with a badly mangled leg. i kicked in $20 to the vet fund. poor kittie. she posted a picture of him, looks rather like my much missed fishpaws.
watched a show this morning- baby baby. it was one of those docu style shows that follows around women in the later stages of pregnancy. why i watch shows like that i don't know, frasier wasn't on and i was at a loss. they had a girl on who i was having a hard time watching. i know we have the same kind of problems in the states but over here it just seems worse, it just seems more common. the girl was 15 and expecting twins. her mom was 33.(the mom looked in her 50's) yeah they're poor and yeah they live in not such a good neighborhood but instead of trying to work hard and rise above it all. they are more than happy to keep on in the same place. smoking cigs and drinking beer on the street corner. leaving school at 16 with no qualifications.
the faces of english women always amaze me. they look ancient at 25 from all the smoking and drinking they do.
