Sunday July 10
we went to the Angel's game n they lost....o well....our seats were as high up as u can go but they were right behind the plate so we had a really good view of everything...i thought they were good seats.....then we went n saw war of the worlds....it was ok...i really thought it would b better....but it wasnt....batman was a hundred times better....i think i might even go see that again....then when we got home sarah n i started packing...it was sad
Monday July 11
got up early n drove over to Dana's Point....had breakfast....sat around for a while n then got on the boat to Catalina...its was like an hour boat ride...but it wasnt too bad....we sat outside so it was really cold n windy (obviously)...when we got there me n sarah rented bikes n we rode around for a while...skipped some rocks...n took pictures...then we went to lunch and then went shopping....then we rented a golf cart n drove around n took more pictures....then we went shopping again n bought cowboy hats as a tribute to Dennis....we're going to wear them on every tuesday (since we met him on a tuesday) no matter what unless we go somewhere that it would b completely inappropriate to wear a cowboy hat...im not sure how this will work during the school year....we might have to change the day....hmmmm....so anyway...we took the boat back...went out to dinner....n when we got home i forced sarah to call Dennis...we looked up his number on whitepages.com n sarah didnt think it was the right number....but i made her call anyway...n low n behold...Dennis answered....then they talked for like an hour...he still doesnt remember her name...but surprisingly remembers mine....he thinks her name is ashley...hahaha.....i think he musta done some damage to the brain when he fell out of that tree...which also broke his back....have i mentioned that yet? (lol)
Tuesday July 12
*sigh* got up early n had breakfast...then went to the airport....all the baggage check n security went extrememly fast so then we sat there for like 2 hours....finally got on the plane at like 12|30...the goodbyes were hard...i really thought we were all gona burst into tears....the plane ride home was really long....we watched fever pitch which took my mind off of things for a while....i nearly cried when we were flying over kansas....i finished a whole book just trying to keep my mind busy...landed at like 9|30ish...got our luggage n went home....me n my mom talked a lot on the way back...some serious stuff....n then some things that i wana do this summer like go to the shore every single day...ha....got home showed everyone what i bought....they went to bed....im on reverse jet lag so i wasnt too tired....
i know this is going to sound stupid but i feel like i was meant to live in california...everything just seemed right while i was there....after the first week i felt like id lived there my whole life...or that i should have at least....it felt good to be around people that i didnt kno...just because i had an opportunity to have a new beginning...start off fresh....no1 knew me n i didnt kno them so i had a chance to get to know them without them immediately jumping to conclusions because they might have heard somthing about me...hopefully that doesnt happen here but theres a chance....plus i fell in love with the beach while i was there n i wish i lived right on the shore...the weather there beats new jersey by a longshot...always sunny...never humid....comfy temps....just really nice....n i love palm trees....someone needs to breed palm trees that can live in new jersey....but i guess i cant b too unhappy....my cousin lives in cali n shes getting married on new years so i get to go back for that....n i plan on goin next summer with sarah if my parents ok it....since we kinda already planned to take sarah with us on a road trip to florida next year kinda as a thank u....hmmm...now that i just got all of that out....i feel better....n i guess this summer wont b so bad....im gona b so busy anyway that i wont have a whole lot of time to think about cali....
