GREETINGS FROM CALIFORNIA!
this entry will probably be really long because we've done a lot so far...plus i have a lot of time to blow while sarah is at church
Sunday June 26
got up super early....got on the plane around 10:30...landed in cali 5 hours later...sarahs bag got lost n we didnt get it until tuesday...so we got to go shopping to buy her clothes to wear since she had no bag....lets just say the mission viejo mall is soooo much better than burlington, moorestown, and cherry hill combined! we also went to see Batman Begins....i loved it
Monday June 27
went to San Clemente Beach n walked really far to go watch the surfers...set up camp at the campsite in San Clemente...chilled at the beach for a while n got our cali tans started...there was this RV in the camping spot next to ours n it was called the "Jamboree" n it really was because we saw this couple in like their 40s or 50s like making out outside of it...gross....
Tuesday June 28
sarah me n grandpa went for a run on the beach to the pier...it was far...but it felt good to run...walked back then went to the beach to chill n whatnot...the pacific ocean is extremely cold compared to the atlantic...n the waves are way bigger...its fun tho....we made friends with this guy dennis...he invited us to his campsite to watch the exorcist but we never did watch it...we met him later n he took us out to this cliff that over looked the ocean...it was really cool but i was really afraid i was gona fall off the side...then we split....then went to find dennis again later n he was like running away from us...then we sat on a bench n talked for a while...then we split again....n at like 10 dennis showed up with his cousin kasey...she was cool...we went back to their campsite n told jokes n ate jellie bellies....it was fun....hopefully we'll get to see him again before we leave...unfortunately we didnt get his number or sn or anything so we just have to hope to get lucky...heres a little about dennis...just cuz its funny:
- he wears a cowboy hat
- he broke his back
- he used to have an irish girlfriend n she slashed his tires when he broke up with her
- because of that he now thinks all irish people are violent
- are you jewish?
- he fell out of a tree one time n landed on a chair...thats how he broke his back
- only jewish people r rich enough to have cell phones
- hes a hick n the fact that me n sarah dont like country music is a sin
- his favorite movies are top gun and appollo thirteen
- he broke his back n thats y he cant play football anymore
- he used to water ski and swim
- he lives in cherry valley, california
- his birthday is september 11th n he is 15
- hes gona b a junior next year
- did i mention he broke his back?
- he gets twinkies and donuts confused
Wednesday June 29
cleaned up our campsite because it was our last day...we went to the beach for a little while...then came home to grandmas house...we went swimming at her pool...wrote some postcards...then went out to dinner n then shopping at the mission viejo mall again...i got a new bathing suit that i love :)...rented some movies...started watching garden state but we started to fall asleep so we just went to bed
Thursday June 30
i dont think we really did anything...went grocery shopping....chilled at home n watched not another teen movie...sarahs friend renee came n we went out to dinner...then we came home n we just chilled some more...watched real world...i love this season
Friday July 1
got up early n went to disneyland :)....we went on this ride called soarin over california which was cool...then we went on the classics like the matterhorn, tea cups, indiana jones, splash mountain, n space mountain...went to the rainforest cafe for dinner which was really cool because it had animals everywhere n vines hanging from the cieling n had rainforest noises like thunderstorms n stuff...then we went back to the hotel n went swimming...there were 2 pools n a hot tub n one pool had slides n everything...it was cool...sarahs wounds started bleeding n these really cute/hilarious life guards named chris n george helped her...u shoulda seen the look they gave her wen she said she fell off a curb...lol...they were making up a better story for her...that some girl was tryin to steal her man n she kneed her in the face until her knee started bleeding and then the girl tried to hit her with a broken beer bottle but she put up her arm n blocked it...it was really funny...then we went swimmin again n her bandaid fell off so we went n found the lifeguards again...some other guy was there too n he asked what happened n sarah said it was a softball injury n chris was like "yeah right" n whispered really loud to the other guy "SHE FELL OFF THE CURB!"...it was funny...then we went out to dinner n went on a few more rides at disney...then we watched the fireworks...
Saturday July 2
went to disney again...went on thunder mountain n the tower of terror n a bugs life n california screamin n the carosel n the ferris wheel n the swings n maliboomer...with swimming, lunch n dinner in there somewhere...watched this block party parade thing which was cool...watched the classic disney parade...did a little shopping...i now have mickey ears...its about time i did...went back to the hotel n chilled n then went shopping in downtown disney
Sunday July 3 (today)
woke up...had breakfast....back to grandmas...n now here i am typing away...we're gona go shopping in laguna later which is going to be soooo much fun...especially since we're gona go to the stores that people from Laguna Beach were at...we already went to the bathing suit shop that kristin went to n we saw the surf shop that steven worked at...its really cool...heading back to San Clemente tomorrow for the 4th of july n we're gona watch the fire works n whatnot...it will b fun..
