Am enjoying a cup of coffee this morning in the dining room and reading up on Drudge. (Now THIS is the Peggy Noonan I know--- she's been absent for a while. Gives one obvious and two unique reasons why government run health care will likely fall flat.

Scott and I slept in really late today. I got up at 10:45, but he's still in bed. The three of us, Scott, Emily, and I-- went over to Scott's parent's house last night to hang out and watch a movie, and we picked "Defiance." Was really good! But we got home at 11:45 pm, and poor Emily had to open Starbucks this morning.
All I can say is it's really nice to still be allowed to be irresponsible at times and sleep in til whenever.
Yesterday in the office, after reading several news reports on things the administration has said , I was pretty frustrated and ticked off. Plus, Betty and Charmaine were both gone, so I was also the only girl in the office, and therefore my boss and Mark paid slightly more attention to stuff I said.
"You're pretty fired up today," commented Tom as I was heating up lunch.
"No, I'm pretty pissed off today."
"Not to sound grandfatherly, but you're probably too young to remember what it was like in 1992 when the left started doing all this, and it was significantly worse because Republicans had the mentality that they were in the permanent minority, and they were largely ignored."
"So in 1992, the president started interfering in municipal law enforcement? And claimed doctors diagnose people for needing surgical procedures so they can get larger reimbursments from insurance? And complain that after receiving 8500 pages of recommendations for a national broadband plan, that the recommendations aren't helpful because they don't lay out a framework ACORN can use to give free high speed Internet violating property rights on private networks to minorities??"
"Yeah, you're pretty fired up, aren't you."
In other news, have you seen this?
