i love fiona apple. unconditionally.
she is amazing.
i feel connected to every song. every time i listen to one, i think back to the time when it could have been my "theme song" and it stirs up those emotions, and i feel just as hopeless/angry/ecstatic/heartbroken as i did when i listen to them then.
i love it.
i remember being 17 listening to "never is a promise" and laying in a bunk bed at camp, crying, and in my car crying at 19, and then in a bunk bed at camp again crying at 20, to the same song. each time about a new person. almost every song brings me back to something very emotional, good or bad, and i just absolutely love when music has that kind of power.
