I would go for house 2, also. More space and not so many people to share rooms with. And you are not far from work. My daughter has to drive 25 miles one way, so a couple miles is really close...You are driving a car now, so the millage shouldn't be a problem.
It would be great to have the extra room for entertaining, and parking in the drive way is better then on the street..
Like lincoln said, you can paint etc if allowed.
I hope you enjoy your new digs... You are on your way!!!!
25 miles?! Wow, well 2 miles is nothing lol :o) Yeah I think I'll go for that one, the distance shouldn't really be a problem and a couple of friends have said I can stay overnight at their house if we go on a night out or something, so I think I'll take it! It's kind of exciting :o)
Yes 25 miles!!!!That's always the way it seems to be. Everyone I know has to travel miles to go to work. My husband had to do the same when he was here, working...
I remember when I was a kid, we lived on the East side of Detroit and my dad worked on the West side. [many miles for him to go to work.] So we moved to the West side, and wouldn't you know it, they transferred him to the East side. So it was back to commuting many miles. You just can't win...
I truly hope you will settle in to your new place and start having FUN!!!!
Wow, that's so annoying for your Dad, I can't believe they did that!
Everyone's persuaded me, two miles isn't very far at all really is it? I can easily get a taxi if I want to have a drink which will be cheap and the rest of the time I can drive or cycle no problem :o)
