Hallowe'en pics

I've decidede to join in with NoJoMo over on OpenDiary this year (click the pic above for a link), because they're setting challenges and that sounds more interesting than just having to write anything. You know me, always up for a challenge!

So here's today's challenge: "I have learned that it is much harder to write less words than more. For this first day of NoJoMo let's get to know each other by writing our own bios. Post them here in notes, and in your diary.

But.

(You had to know there was a but!) You only get to use 15 words to write your bio."

And here's my response. Not very exciting I know, but hey I said I like challenges, but I'm not too creative with my words!

I'm English, living with my boyfriend, media degree, love films and photography, 27 years old.

So that's NoJoMo challenge day one taken care of. Onto the other stuff! I've been out almost every night this week whilst Pete's been away. Monday I was just getting back from Norwich, Tuesday I went to pole dancing, which was a great lesson, I could do everything I tried to do, even the inverts, I was so pleased! Wednesday I had a nice night in on my own, Thursday I went to Abi's house for dinner, playing on the Wii and watching Dead Set, which is ZOMBIES based around Big Brother. Damn, I missed the last episode last night, I'll have to see if it's online or something. And last night was Simon and Bee's Hallowe'en party. Here are some pics :o)

Steph was a mummy.

Yes I'm sad and took a photo of myself in the mirror, but I thought I made a pretty good witch! Although literally everyone at the party asked me why I came to the party dressed as myself. I'm not a Goth!

Bee, our host

Darren always goes to a lot of trouble with his costumes

Rich Williams seemed to come dressed as Michael Jackson!

But Franco's costume definitely won I think, he's Death! He even had a little light in Death's 'hood' to make it look like eerie glow on his face, but you can't see it on this picture. I asked him how long he'd spent on it and he said "Only all afternoon....well it is me." Which is a very good point. All afternoon isn't a very long time for Franco to spend on anything, he always puts his heart and soul into everything he does, not sleeping or eating until it's finished and even making himself ill because everything has to be perfect. I suppose it's a good way to conduct your work!

Today I got half the money from the people whose wedding I shot in September....2007. So now I've got half of it and he hasn't got anything in return, chances look pretty good of me getting the rest of it, he said he'll get it to me next week. So add that to the extra £90 in my pay from work due to our 5% pay rise and the bit of overtime I did last month and it's a pretty good month! Which I really need after buying my car and insurance last month.

Off out again tonight to Blue's house to watch Iron Man and then I'm driving a car full of people to Alton Towers tomorrow! Negotiating those tight country lanes should be interesting; a bus actually fell off a bridge a couple of months ago and tonnes of people died. Hmm...
