Wow... I'd have to say that today was fantastic.
I started the day off slowly by arising from my bed around 2 pm. But i had a great dinner at panera with the folks, and I was pleased to see my dad in such a great mood.
Stephon came into town today, but he's leaving tomorrow. My mom picked him up and we brought him to my house. He had to have a talk with his business executives. Im sure it was stressful, but he handled it like a champ. We proceeded to go to Carly's and pick her up for the show. Getting everyone together, and figuring out plans took a lot longer than it should've, and I could tell miss carly was getting anxious.
We dropped stephon off with some friends and headed to the show. There was still food from the potluck, and all of the beautiful artwork continued to be displayed. Dig shovel Dig played first, and I would like to say we, they were even better this time. This guy is crazy (and what the lovely Jen said, IS TRUE). This is was also my second time hearing cars will fly (they played with autopassion at a very fun show last night). I LA-LA-LOVE this band. And so many people that I feel the same way about were there as well.
Now I would really like to say that I wasn't too tired to stay for disband and all astronauts, but this simply isnt true. I drove with george in a failed attempt to meet Tyler and alex at Waffle-house. I somehow got really confused and ended up in the ghetto. Taking 30 minutes to drive to Jonestown must be a record. I should be proud of that I suppose, but lack of "good eatin'" has eclipsed this pride.
what made this day the best? Well I will tell you that it was a certain acceptance letter from UNCA. I'm going to college... IN ASHEVILLE.
