good times at pats birthday
since the big 2-1, every year i have gotten pretty drunk at pat's birthday party.
the first year, really really bad, very very drunk.
the second year, bad, pretty drunk, i was the only one who couldnt drive home at the end of the night, haha... unlike the first year when everyone spent the night
this year, not so bad, was i drunk? i guess so, i didnt feel very drunk, but i was surely buzzed.
thats not really the interesting part
the first year, i drank a couple 23 oz killians, a 23 oz blue moon, and i think i did 3 or 4 shots.... so like, total of 7 drinks, but those beers are doubles, so in 12oz beer = 1 shot, then i had 8-9 drinks.
the second year i drank three 23oz blue moons, a 12oz bottle of oberon, a 23oz killians, and 2 shots.... making 11 drinks... same as the year before, much much much less drunk, but still drunk.
last night, i had seven 23oz guinesses. i thought i only had 5, but i checked my receipts this morning, seven... making 14 drinks
14, not that that is some miraculous number of drinks or anything. but the astonishing part is that i was good to drive home an hour after leaving the bar, and i only peed once (hahah).
comparing that escalation from prior years, crazy... absolutely crazy
two years ago and 8 drinks gets me so wasted that we start playing straight up spin the bottle, no matter who it lands on, you kiss, boy or girl. this year, 14 drinks and i barely notice...
