Thanks Nair may soon become a tag of mine, as I seem to be saying far too often.
For my flist not in the know, Nair was a teacher of mine, and while her class was hard, it was rarely boring (except maybe hegemony).
Anyhoo, back to the evils of Disney.
I'm watching Little Mermaid cartoon series(a prequel to the movie), but only because there is NOTHING else on, and Aladdin is on next. So, someone over hears King Tritan and some other, foreign visiting King making plans that they (mis)interpret to mean she'll be forced into an arranged marriage with foreign King's offspring. The weird little merboy and Sebation (the Jamican lobster) rush off to tell her. Her response - "My father would never do that!" Hell ya sister -"because he has 6 older daughters to marry off first" I'm sorry what?!
