Errrrrrrrggggggg
Why do we try? why do we care about people who don't care about themselves? who don't want to help themselves? who don't want to help others? who don't want to be helped themselves? You can be there to teach someone, you can wait for someone to come to you, but if they don't want to be taught, or if they don't want to come then nothing will happen. Of course you could try to do whatever you're doing by yourself, but what if you can't? what if you NEED other people.. at this point it comes down to their will, you cannot convince someone that something is for their own good if they don't believe it. So what do you do, do you abandon ship? why submit yourself to crap when you don't have to? I guess that's exactly what benevolent self sacrifice is all about, giving yourself even though it may not be wanted, or acknowledged. Ok so i've been running in circles with this and it's really getting nowhere because of it, and i've gone over it hundreds of times in my head before but right now i just can't help but wonder and be pissed off.
