  • My house is infested with moths. This does not make me very happy. :/
  • I have ( Read more... )

When do you come over?? Would you be thinking of dropping into London on the way, because if you were at the right time we could catch up!!

Ooh! That would be AWESOME!!!! :D I'm there from December 15th to January 9th. I'd really like to see London again - I went last time, but had a rather crap time due to staying in a very noisy hostel (construction next door rather than guests, for once) and going on a crappy tour. But I loved the museums and galleries and historical buildings, and would love to go again - and especially to see you! :D

So let me know if you're around at that time too, and we can see if we can organise something! :D

Ooh, and thanks for the info about warm clothes too - that's ever so helpful!

Also, if you're wanting warm clothes visit the Icebreaker outlet on Smith St - they sell clothes made from New Zealand merino wool, and while they're expensive, they are TOTALLY worth it. I bought one light under-layer top and a heavier overlayer top to bring to Europe for my first trip, and they were amazingly warm. I bought more for moving over here. They're about $60, but if you're planning on going for a while or reusing them, I considered mine an investment.

Oh, I've been to Denmark! I loved it! Also, I was the only person in the group that could handle exchange rates.

The dollar is stronger than the kroner, so it was also kind of cool to get almost 5 kroner per dollar.

I have a pie maker too! :D
But I've only used it once ; 3 ;

Its not hard to make them, I just don't eat them lol

Since I've stopped writing my a million page notes for my story project, words don't come to me easily either. Hence the random LJ posts where I don't really say much at all ^^; fail

Heh, same here on the posting. :)
I love pies, but there's never many vegetarian flavours if you try to buy them in a shop, so the novelty of it all means I am making far too many! :D
