- Have people over for dinner [Needs improvement - does having R. over count?]
- Go on a date [X] (understatement!)
- Do a triathlon (eating well and exercising regularly due to training is implied) FAIL
- Visit a museum and hit an exhibit (having drinks at the Getty, like I did last summer, does not count) [X] (in Boston!)
- Get a new car? [1/2 credit -- paid a broker to find a car for me but it hasn't come yet]
- Get a new computer (only if I sell something!) [X] (but I didn't sell anything!)
- Go through some of the books on my home shelves before buying more; whenever possible utilize library instead of buying books [Needs improvement - made good use of the library but I still haven't touched the books on my shelves AND I bought more]
- Don't buy anything unless I LOVE it [Needs improvement, but I do feel like I'm getting better at it]
- Clear off underused shelf in my medicine cabinet FAIL
- Iron something, organize CDs and DVDs, play with cats more and all the other things I failed to do in 2009 FAIL
Overall, despite the fact there's a number of things I didn't do or failed to complete, I'm quite happy. The mortgage refinancing was a huge deal, and of course, so is the date thing. Not only did I go on a date -- I went on dates with THREE different guys, and wound up with a boyfriend. Whoohoo! That pretty much trumps all.
Here's hoping 2011 will bring similarly great things!
