(I personally decided to go with original Zuka works, and therefore omitted tsukigumi Ernest in Love, Me and My Girl, and Elisabeth)
1. Who is your favorite character from #6? (Scout)
I'm going to be completely boring and say Sean Finlay, aka Tomu's role.
...I can't explain it. On paper, he's a white hat. But there's something about the way Tomu plays heroes makes me go "nggggh" every time. (Pardon me, I'll be over here swooning).
Also very much of note is Sakura Ichika as La Roux, the female demon who has fun tormenting Sean. Ichika is so talented and obviously had waaaaaay too much fun with the role *g*
2. Who is your least favorite character from #2? (Luna)
*scratches head* No one immediately comes to mind...maybe Michella (Mihara Shiho's role as the Spanish actress)? But I had to think about it, meaning I didn't mind her that much.
3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include? (El Halcon and Silver Rose Chronicle)
For no apparent reason, Tyrian Persimmon (Aran Kei) and Christopher Creme (Ouki Kaname) switch bodies. This makes Tyrian a vampire, and since this fact helps him with his Europe world conquering AND seducing ladies against their will, he has no desire to change back.
Obviously everyone from both casts has to stop Evil Vampire Tyrian. In addition to getting his body back, Christopher also has to fend off the affections of a very eager Juliet.
...can you tell it's past my bedtime? ^^;
4. Who is your favorite ship from #6? (Scout)
I like the relationship between the main two characters, but the ending cheapens it.
5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #2 on a blind date, who would they be? (A/L and LUNA)
Eva (Kazune Miou) is really fed up with Donis (Sagiri Seina) by the end of the show (and with good reason. No offense to the Chigi fans, but...)
Anyway, what better opportunity than to set her up with Harry (Hatsukaze Midori's archaeologist character from LUNA)? Eva obviously likes beating up men. Harry likes strong women (if you see the way he follows around Dan-chan's character...)
I think it has potential ;)
6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do? (The Second Life)
Definitely Mark/Jake (Micchan's role) from The Second Life. But I'd feel bad breaking up him and Lucia, so instead I would just make him play piano for me all day <333 And in between he could serve me coffee <3
7. If you could change one thing about #2 #3 and #6's plotlines, what would you change? (A/L and Scout)
Both of these drive me crazy because otherwise they're such incredible shows.
For A/L, could we have an ending that actually matched the tone of the show?
And for Scout...Masatsuka-sensei, could we have a real ending please? The current ones feels like a cop-out and is the only thing that keeps Scout from being extraordinary, rather than just excellent.
8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them. (Silver Rose Chronicle)
I'll be boring and say the main couple, Elliot and Annabelle (Ayabuki Mao and Ootsuki Sayu). There was something about the script and the chemistry between the actresses that made their falling in love very real. If the writing or the cast had been different I may have looked at the ending and gone "BWUH?", but in this case it was extremely sweet.
9. If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be? (El Halcon and A/L)
Ah ha ha. Tyrian Persimmon is a fascinating character, but he deserves to drown. (Dirty hero indeed). So Raoul Balain wins by default ;)
10. If you could give a bigger part to any character in #4, who would you choose and why? (The Second Life)
Aihana Chisaki plays Nina. She comes onto the set looking alluring, plays hard to get with Jake (Micchan), drugs his wine, and after he's killed proceeds to sing an Evil Mafia Song.
I love the show as it is, but more Evil Mafia is never a bad thing.
11. What happens in your favorite scene of show #4? (The Second Life)
Mark (who died one year previously) is able to return to Earth, but having been reincarnated into the body of a mafia member, his fiancee Lucia doesn't believe his story and rejects him.
Mark tries again and again to convince Lucia to no avail. In his previous life he was a talented pianist and wrote a song as a way of proposing to Lucia. Frustrated, Mark finally sits down at a piano in the hotel lobby where he and Lucia are staying and pours his heart into playing the song he wrote for Lucia so long ago. (Micchan really did play the piano for this, which made it all the more amazing).
As Mark is bearing his soul through his song, Lucia comes out of her hotel room and into the lobby where Mark is playing. This man is supposed to be a stranger who won't shut up about his nonsense, and yet here he is pouring his heart out in a song that only her deceased fiancee ever knew.
Really, I wish this show was released on DVD so there could be an angle for both Micchan and Tacchin in this scene. They both need one for every second.
The Second Life a ridiculous, crack-filled play, but in the midst of all of that this scene was amazingly beautiful. The time I saw it, Micchan actually messed up on the piano (the only time she did it, poor thing ;___;). But even with that, I've decided this is my favorite moment of live Takarazuka ever.
12. If you could kill off one of the characters of #1, who would it be and how would you do it? (El Halcon)
*scratches head* I suppose for the good of humanity I really should kill Tyrian. He's an evil, evil man, after all. But since it makes an interesting story, I'd let Red (Chie) do it ;)
13. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose? (A/L and Silver Rose Chronicle)
Mmm...A/L's set was kind of average, so I'd go with Silver Rose Chronicle. That had some pretty cool lighting and such from what I remember.
14. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
It's the end of this meme and I'm entirely way too tired to choose. Therefore I want both Sean from Scout AND Mark from The Second Life. Sean is sexier, but Mark is sweeter...it's a tough call :P
