First of all, I'd like to thank the survey respondents for being by and large intelligent with their answers. With the 2008 "Enchanted by..." series in Graph, I got the impression that people were just writing in with the most recent thing they'd seen :P
For those of you who haven't seen Brilliant Dreams: Stage before, each episode focuses on a different performer. A few months beforehand, the Sky Stage websites ask fans to write in with what they think that performer's most notable role/scene/etc. has been to date. Each episode's guest then comments on each answer.
-For kanji, the respondents selected "真", with "The Second Life" being notable. And then she goes into the story about how she screwed up on senshuraku, and how it made her reevaluate herself and try harder as a performer. But she still seems to look back on The Second Life fondly, and that's a good thing in my book <3
-For flower, the respondents picked "sunflower" with Koitengu being notable, and "sakura" with Soufuren being notable. I'm not a huge fan of yellow, but I can definitely see sunflower. And sakura too, given how elegant she is. (If you haven't noticed yet, this is going to be a very sappy post ^^;;)
-For roles, the survey respondants came up with the following:
1) Jake Iron in The Second Life. Micchan says that her favorite scene is the one where Tacchin tells her, "You have the same eyes as him", and then they sing their duet. I like that scene too <3333
2) Jeff from "Bourbon Street Blues." I feel that this is her strongest acting role, so I approve.
3) Rodrigo and Ramon from "Valencia no Atsui Hana."
4) Francis from the "Seal of Roses" shinjinkouen. Even six years later, she still keeps the advice that Rika had given her in her mind and heart <33333
I would have switched out the Valencia roles for Sherlock Holmes in "A/L", but other than that this was almost exactly what I would have picked.
-For song and dance, the respondants picked:
1) The theme from "Lover's Suicide" from the 2004 TCA Special. Micchan says that she's surprised that people remember the theme from "Lover's Suicide" that given that the the 2004 TCA Special was only performed two or three times. Becca says that Micchan is very silly ;)
Also, 2) The Mars scene from "Sora Fantasista", 3) "Hitomi no naka no houseki" from "Valencia no Atsui Hana", and 4) "Roma wa Watashi no Mono" from Akatsuki no Roma.
With the exception of the theme from "Lover's Suicide", I would have picked differently. But these were some of her first noticable solos on the honkouen stage, so I can see why the respondants came up with them.
As for Micchan's favorite performances, her responses are:
1) The "Great Pirates" shinjinkouen. I have much love for villainous Micchan, but unfortunately her role got really cut up on the digest version, so it never left much of an impression on me :/ 2) L/R (I approve!!!) 3) The 46th Buyokai, aka her first buyokai. I haven't seen it.
For roles that the survey respondents would like to see her play, they listed:
1) Der Tod. The face and voice she made in response nearly had me rolling on the floor. She's not sure how she feels about playing a character like Death, but Elisabeth has a lot of pretty songs and she'd like the opportunity to sing them <3 I agree very, very strongly.
2) Sol from Nova Bossa Nova. She thinks that one would be fun. I hadn't thought of this before, but it's a good idea. It even has the kirakira_sora seal of approval.
3) Erik from Phantom. Micchan is an excellent singer, but I'm having a harder time imagining this one. *shrugs* Well, I wouldn't complain.
And she still wants to be a Fred Astaire-like otokoyaku who looks in suits <33333
Best half an hour of Sky Stage ever *grin*
