In which I am bored and very grumpy...
Where does all the holiday go? I've only really today left, as tomorrow I'm packing and shopping for Cub camp, and then away all weekend with that. I absolutley have to write my TLA assignment today... I was supposed to finished it in June, but with being pregnant and feeling sick, then going to camp with school and the summer holidays it just never happened. It has to be on questioning and I'm supposed to have done classroom based research to support it... well I haven't really put much effort into that, so writing it up will be interesting and dull.
I've been putting it off all week and all of last week... I'd much rather be knitting, but now since I've knitted all the pieces of the cardigan and I'm to the section where I have to "pick up and knit 158 stitches" which is practically my least favourite thing to do in the whole of knitting. I certainly couldn't do it yesterday whilst attempting to teach Liz to knit. How hard it 1 x 1 rib? For Liz? Very hard... in fact almost impossible! She can knit, she can purl, Hell, she can even 2 x 2 rib... not sure what happens with the 1 x 1 rib though, she suddenly can't easily recognise which stitch is which and so ends up with some messy looking seed stitch with holes in, which I inevitably have to mend for her, despite showing her about 50 times how to mend it... and then she gets all despondent because I have to rip half of it out to mend it. Grrrrrrrrrr!
In better news a lot of my QVC crafting goodies arrived on Saturday, and we picked up the stamps which were delivered while I was out on Tuesday. So I could have a lovely day crafting... but then I'll just feel guilty about the stupid TLA, so really I should do that, but I DON'T WANT TO!
