Perhaps we should get an unpacking list going... there is still a fair amount to go. I've retreated to the outlaw's house because they have internet and we don't.
I'm so getting the value of a to do list like this tho.
Was the secret ever let out and I missed it? Or is it still a secret?
Also, what is "toad in the hole"? A british man with the most beautiful voice I have ever heard in my life came through the drive thru and was talking to his passanger who had an almost as beautiful voice and one of them said that and I thought it was a food thing but didnt know what it was. I have to say, I was horribly disappointed that the man with the super stunning voice looked like Kevin Smith and the other was equally unattractive. *tear*
Still secret here... With my computer being kaput this morning I was distracted. I really should make that post, along with the cake post... but my to do list was high priority this morning!
Toad in the hole is Yorkshire pudding with sausages in it... but you probably won't know what yorkshire pudding is. It is made with flour, egg and milk, a sort of batter, then baked in the oven until crispy at the edges. A bit like a pancake (well what we would call a pancake, you might call a crepe) but not sweet. My Mum puts chopped onions and sage and thyme in her toad in the hole. It is delicious! Served with gravy... Mmmmmmmmmm! Come to my house and I'll make you one!
