I've been lazy this week. Yesterday was a total write-off with me spending most of it in front of the computer, and having curry (supermarket bought, a tiny step up from take-away) for tea. Today is TheDayOfGettingThingsDone!
Its just after 9am, as I got up with the boy this morning. He has been complaining of stomach ache (below his belly button, so more likely gut ache)... any suggestions welcome... but he thinks it isn't worth bothering a doctor about... I think by the 4th day, it probably is. Not sure if its related to anxiety/ work... we'll see.
I'm aiming for 45 mins of housework, 15 mins reading, 45 mins of school work, 15 mins of reading/internet... I think Liz wanted to go to the gym, but not sure I'm in the mood for swimming... maybe just the regular gym?
Have healthy breakfast (porridge and fruit)
Put away the dry dishes
Wash a load of dishes

Bring up weekend bag and laundry basket from Living room
Empty laundry rack and pair up socks
Take the dining chair back downstairs
Clean the cooker top
Clean out the piggers
Search upstairs for other things to wash up...

On the school side of things
Clear off desk
Work on notes for Rings/Polymers/Analysis
Clear off the letter tray... that surface should be put to much better use.
I'll probably make a post over at thinmuffet later on... there are things I need to get off my chest.

Breakfast was lovely... though in future I'm going to buy a box of oats instead of sachets... that way I can eat smaller portions. Probably won't notice. I've washed up a whole load of dishes, and now there is just a small stack left. I'll tackle those and the cooker top next I think. I've made some Jelly for lunch (if it sets in time...) and the veg box has arrived, so I can have a lovely healthy dinner!

I'm getting there... Second load of washing up is done. I've found the worktop by the fridge again under a lots of stuff and made it sparkle. I made a cup of Strawberry and Mango tea to celebrate. Most of the kitchen stuff is off the table now, and that has created another load of washing up... I think judging by the number of glasses on my desk and bedside that anothernother load of washing up will appear today.

Stopped for lunch now, came upstairs to consult my diet books so I can have a healthy lunch... that way if it all goes pearshaped when theboy is cooking (he uses so much butter...) it won't matter so much. Only the chopping boards left to wash up... I've cleaned out both the kitchen drawers after I despaired about all my tea towels falling on the floor when I opened the cupboard! Again!

Liz arrived... back soon.... I had falafel for lunch, in a wrap with yummy salad... OmNomNom, and plenty left for tomorrow!

theboy is home, cake has been enjoyed (just a small sliver for me please!) and I had to find my living room before Liz came home. I got slightly sidetracked by a possible goth outfit for Saturday night, but it didn't work out in the end. I managed to pair up the socks and bring our weekend bag up out of the living room. chopping board still need washing up, but I'll do them right before I start tea. Going to try filling the sink with hot soapy water before I start cooking, that way things dumped in the sink should come out clean... see how it goes!

Tea is made and my kitchen is sparkling... only one unwashed ramekin dish remains, and that's only because I forgot about it :( We had sausage, egg, wedges and beans and it was yummy. Jelly for pudding makes it extra yummy. I'm proud of everything I have achieved today. Well done Me! I might even do some school stuff later, or maybe a bath is in order?
