In which I throw away more stuff and get more shelves...
More progress on my great office refurb!
A trip to our new Asda Living store yesterday saw me purchase a mountain of storage boxes... One is full of precious things from the wedding and is filed away on a high shelf. One is full of school paperwork that needs sorting, another has all my loose crafty bits in it (and could do with a bit of a sort out) and the final one has paperwork/ bills which need to be sorted and organised into my files. When I moved everything out before Easter, there were about 20 boxes, but slowly everything is finding a place to live.
Zac has completed his part of the mission, by building me a small bookshelf, to store all my textbooks (there are lots since I teach age 11-18, there's a lot of material to cover!) and my craft books. Hopefully that will free up more space on downstairs bookshelf and allow me to have all my craft stuff to hand when I want it. I threw out another black bag of junk yesterday and the selling pile has increased slightly too. I really should get that listed.
I still need to find fabric for a curtain and get some fairy lights (any ideas at this time of year?) I might have to use the Christmas ones and get new ones for the tree. I might even splash out and have my watercolours from Prague and Whitby and one of my favourite wedding photos frames... That might have to wait until next payday?
Feels like its all coming together now... Photos will be taken when I'm totally happy with it!
