1. Are you a frequent shopper? How often do you shop for needs or wants? Yes and No. I shop more often for needs than I do for wants. I internet shop for wants because then it's more often that I do not spend my money.
2. What kinds of objects do you like, or would like to buy? Clothes.
3. Needs aside, if you could buy whatever you wanted, what would you buy? (Plural objects included?) More designer clothes. One offs. Midriff tops that cost over $200.
4. Do you think your shopping (needs and wants) is influenced by any moral, ethical, political or environmental issues? Which objects that you purchase do these include? No.
5. How does buying these objects for these (ethical, political, moral etc.) reasons make you feel? I don't.
6. Do you identify with any of the objects you purchase? Why? (E.g. buying an expensive object may make you feel classy, buying a certain CD can include you in a specific musical genre, purchasing animal themed stationary because you’re an animal lover, etc.) Do you feel that you may associate yourself with these items, consciously or unconsciously? I don't. I don't think I do. I buy what I like because I like it or because I feel like it.
7. Do you ever impulse buy? Why do you think you do or don’t? What impulse objects would you tend to purchase? Does this include groceries at all? I don't impulse buy clothes. I have on times like when I'm away or overseas, but other than that, I don't. Groceries, I do. Especially if I'm hungry, then I'll see something that looks good or I like and I'll buy it.
8. Which do you tend to spend more time and/or money on, needs or wants? Both. More time on needs, but I will buy things that I want a lot of the time also.
9. How do you personally differentiate between your wants and needs? My needs are usually clothes for work or food or medication or something. I wear all black for work so anything that isn't black is a want.
