There are days where No Right Turn's anti-Christian attitudes really peeve me off.

I don't actively disagree with anything, but I am unsure about the Virgin Birth, the Church teaches that Jesus was born as light passes through a window, thus leaving the Madonna's hymen (virginity) intact.

It's a very ancient teaching, but it's one I just can't wrap my mind around very well. However that's not say I actually disagree, since I do believe that the Church's Magisterium is true.

My reasoning follows thus -

I believe in the God of the Bible.
I believe that Jesus really is God.
Jesus, according to the Bible, gave Peter the keys to the Church and commanded him to feed his sheep.
The Church is our spiritual mother and protected from error in regards to faith and morals (note not science).

One of the reasons the Church teaching clashes with modern Western morals is that Catholicism has an afterlife.

From a Catholic Magisterium perspective the danger is not in the little girl suffering, but in the peril of mortal sin for those who okayed and performed the abortion.

Assuming they don't repent, the Church teaches that they will suffer eternal damnation for taking innocent lives, which is a worse fate than anything we may suffer in life. To allow someone in mortal sin to take Communion is worse than excommunication.

26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

28 A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup.

29 For anyone who eats and drinks without recognising the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself.

See now how is this even likely, that a religion could have got "Everything" right, people can't even write a 500 line computer program that is completely correct, let alone an entire religion.
