Hehehe, what is with all the lists? I'm going to do yet another one. I'm borrowing this one from Jayca... minus the cute stars, I am too broke to afford stars. :(

THINGS TO DO:
01. Bought everyone in the pub a drink
02. Swam with wild dolphins
03. Climbed a mountain - check
04. Taken a Ferrari for a test drive
05. Been inside the Great Pyramid
06. Held a ( Read more... )

that list was months old! but you can get the stars from multiply by just copy-pasting (although you may look silly using it) you have added much to your list since i last knew you!

so, why did you move away from winnipeg?

Hehehe, some of the things on the list happened even before you knew me.

Don't you remember our chat on MSN? I moved to Calgary to attend Masters in Industrial Design. I hope to design everything from kitchenware to sofas, automotive goods and even user interfaces (i.e. cellphones, controllers, hand tools, etc.)

Right now, Calgary/Edmonton are booming cities with massive amounts of job opportunities. There has been quite a large influx of new residents in the last couple years, especially because of the large oil reserves in the province. The rate of growth here is phenomenal, and I wouldn't be surprised if it overtakes quite a few major US cities in the next 4-5 years. Kids are routinely getting MASSIVE amounts of money just to work at McDonald's because they've got a bigger workforce shortage compared to any other Canadian city. I've seen signs that said "Help Wanted" at Dairy Queen - $12 an hour.

I should really start bugging Mikko again about moving here. :)

"my regards to your human family and your Subaru family"

HAHAHA, that line made me laugh first thing in the morning. :) Thanks. My regards to your family, and to your two new babies... they've probably grown a lot since the last set of pictures you've posted.

yes, they have grown. whisky (the white one) is almost as big as Ming-Ming. He's like 5kg! Whisky is huge and fluffy-scruffy, whereas Frisky is small and perfect. they're very friendly to strangers, so you wouldn't have to entice them with treats.

good luck in Calgary. i hope the winter there is more forgivable than Winnipeg's and that it's not as lonely.

The weather here is not as harsh as Winnipeg's, but unfortunately it will be more lonely. See Yin is a 3 hour drive away, and I will only get to see her once a month because she has her thesis to finish on weekends, on top of her full-time job at a landscape architecture firm.

Do you have any recent pics of Whisky and Frisky?

Oh, and how's Mimay doing in Tokyo?

Sorry for all the questions. :P

My GOODNESS those kittens aren't kittens anymore! :D And the chicks are very very cute too. I hope you guys don't eat them when they grow up. :P

I haven't checked that yahoo account in such a long time, I had 402 unread messages from about 2 years ago in that account. I've been using gmail.com nowadays... same name as the yahoo account but with a period instead of an underscore.

I'll respond to your e-mail through that account instead.
