Two extra days of winter break...not what I was expecting at all and it made me a little mad. Who's to say kids never want to go to school. The lack of school on thursday and friday really screwed me up because 1. i needed to turn something in to ms. McCammon and 2. i left my instrument at school, and i HAVE to practice for competition in January. I guess that just goes to show me to always trust meteorologists. ah, im not supposed to be so stressed on a break from school!
Hmm...last Sunday I made an igloo for the gingerbread house competition. I know, I know, you're supposed to use gingerbread or graham crackers but since my house kept collapsing last year, i decided to do things differently. I did use a part of a cracker for my eskimo's sled. After that we played dirty santa...nobody liked my "decision maker" present. oh well.
Tomorrow is formal potluck secret santa day!! yay! I have a slight confession to make: I still haven't gotten my pal's present...but i have thought about what to get! Hopefully we will have pictures. that's all.
