i desperately needed money so i decided to sell one of my books that i refused to sell last year. so i brought it to chimes text and proudly presented it to the buy-back guy. he took a good look inside and i was very proud to have it highlited in various colors with little notes on the corners of each page. and then he raised an eyebrow and said he couldn't buy it back b/c it was highlited too much!!!!!!
i said students liked highlited books and he raised both of his eyebrows this time.
i said "it's your loss" by which i meant go fuck yourself b/c nobody is gonna do it for you and left.
bookstore gave me 32 dollars and two quarters for it.
i bought two chewing gums with the quarters, one red and one green..and i am gonna get drunk with the remaining tonight.
ps: i am not gonna quit highliting my books!
