A nor'easter has been churning up the coast since Sunday bringing with it huge waves. The waves were steady yesterday afternoon at Scarborough beach, breaking split-ways between the two life guard towers. Imagine smiling lips--the corners turning up. At each end of the swell the wave breaks rolling into the center, not along the outside of the wave as it usually happens at Scarborough. A sign of nasty rips.
When the heavy fog rolled in you couldn't see the shore anymore and only when the rip and the swell pulled your feet outward did you know white water was ready to crash on your head. Amazing.
