So, after a twenty-five month hiatus, I give you my rendition of
Elenor Rigby.
It should be said that this is an extremely rough cut and not mastered the way my previous tracks were: for those of you who are interested in such minutae, I had to dump it directly into my trusty iRiver H340's line in and then record it from there. On previous recordings, I captured as .wav and converted to .mp3. The main difference is the quality of the end product in terms of effects and volume; I'm working on getting Windows to recognize my soundcard again (may have to just yank the sucker out physically and reinstall it by hand) so I can use the soundcard's recorder function to capture (and hear) a better quality original.
Short version: boost the bass slightly, and turn it up a little bit for your enhanced listening enjoyment. Watch this space for repost.
Words & Music (c) Lennon/McCartney. Don't think for a second I had anything to do with this trying to make money from it, because I fully acknowledge I'm nothing but an amateur.
