more death, not.

Can't post much right now. Haven't been around much online. I made a post on sat that was planned to be privet until I was able to edit later today or tomorrow. It'll be back, with less stupid errors.

In the mean time.... nothing much. Just, you know, climbed Quandary (con forg and tuna - tuna's first 14er!) and almost died, or could've been seriously injured. For those who know the mtn the first image is of the mtn and  the route from the South side.. it's a Culair climb. The second image shows where the arrows are in the first image, and the second image has two arrows. for the sake of getting to the point, I'll point to the arrow on the right and note that it's a few degrees steeper there. I fell most of that arrows length. Sweet Jesus... when a large boulder/rock sticking out of the snow looks nice b/c it'll stop you despite the fact that it could damage you... ugh. I laughed at the time, and I got down fine (tho, walking on the skree and solid ground, not snow..). But, in hind sight, I'm realizing that the cliche "my life flashed before my eyes" saying fits with what I was  experiencing and the relief of thinking "I could die, but that rock will stop me from rolling... or maybe that boulder field." Not that my train of thought was that calm.. I was screaming "OHSHIT" and having my nightmare images flash before my eyes of my axe going through my chest. Even Forrest didn't follow me down. He walked on the skree. I don't feel HARDCORE!!@! I feel stupid and I appreciate life.. the fact that I didn't break anything or end up unconscious or worse.
