It's been a while since I posted . . . how's it going?
I been really busy.
My day/temp gig is doing production typesetting for a large health insurance company. Every year all health insurance companies are required by law to inform their customers of any changes in their policies. This period is referred to as the "Annual Notice of Change," or ANOC. During ANOC, immense volumes of documents are created and I get to help create 'em. We've been working overtime for a few weeks now and this will probably continue for at least another month, if not two. (oy vey)
On top of that, the Boggards have been recording a new CD and had a couple o' gigs, the Dixiedelics are gearing up for five gigs in September/October, Christmas Matters has had a couple of rehearsals and is beginning to gear up for Christmas, the Tracy Well's Big Swing Band has had a few gigs with a couple more on the horizon, plus an occasional freelance gig thrown in for good measure.
I have also been looking for a new roommate 'cause my roommate of fifteen years is leaving. The good news on this front is that I have found one. She is a seemingly very responsible, smart, and undoubtedly attractive thirty year old lass whom I met through Craig's List. I don't know her very well at all yet so, I will wait to post much more about this turn of events until there is more to report. But there is a shitload of work to do on the house in the next couple of weeks and I'm not really sure when I'm gonna get a chance to did it. I would totally accept any well wishes in this regard.
So, that's why I have been way from the internet for a while and will probably remain as scarce for a while yet.
I do miss hanging about here and on Tribe but I'll be back eventually.
