When Neil Gaimain and Doctor Who Combine, Epic Things Happen

May 15, 2011 22:49

I think this has to be one of my most favourite Doctor Who episodes. Neil Gaiman lives up to his writing reputation and provides us with such an amazing episode, filled with originality, emotion, depth and just pure awesome. And all the time staying true to canon.

So yeah, I'm a little impatient and couldn't wait a week for 'The Doctor's Wife' to air on Aussie tv. This way I get to revel in its brilliance twice ;) And it isn't ruined by spoilers from the rest of the world who get to watch it in-line with the UK. Seriously, why do we always get things late here? You know that poor pathetic person that's always the last to find out? Yeah, that's us. Thanks, World. Thanks for making us the loser at the party... At least we're only a week behind I spose. Still, I'm sure Aussies make up a higher fan base than the US :P

But in all honesty, that was a truly brilliant episode. Fellow Aussie Doctor Who fans, prepare for the awesome that awaits you.

How good am I? Didn't even give away any spoilers. Cause I'm cool like that. Well, some of the time...

tv, neil gaiman, awesome, doctor who
