More work bitching and ranting...
So, I was meant to hear back today about the result of my meeting with OD and the Centre Manager. I didn't hear anything so emailed to find out what the deal is, and was informed that it's been delayed because the SE3 has gone on holidays. My meeting was almost 2 weeks ago. I was originally told I would hear back the end of that week. Then it got bumped to the 9th and now I have to wait until Wednesday. Not only that, but I have been bumped from the Semester 2 timetable altogether. I haven't resigned. I was waiting to hear about their resolution. Term is meant to start next week! How the hell am I meant to organise anything when I have no idea what the fuck is going on? Thank fuck I took on the additional unit NMIT offered me. Seriously, WTF. What I don't understand is that if the SE3 and the friggin Centre Manager knew he would be on holidays why the fuck didn't they organise this sooner? Thanks a fucking lot guys. Nice to know how much you give a shit.
I want to cry right now. I'm trying to finish off resources I was meant to develop (one was offloaded to me because the original person working on it left). I am finding it pretty difficult to find motivation to finish them when I'm being treated like this. So far my "holidays" - of which I'm unpaid during this time - have consisted of me doing work. AWESOME.
On a more positive note, I went in to Qantm College last week to chat to the Coordinator about enrolling in the Graphics course. I was originally planning on enrolling for mid-year, but because of work and the number of units etc he's suggested I enrol Jan/Feb instead and use this time to develop my folio. So, that's something! I already have a bunch of work to add to the folio so I have to get back into the swing of doing a sketch a day. I'm just trying to finish all this marking and resource development shit first. Here's to hoping 2013 is a shitload better than this year and last year!
