Let's talk about mental health! After all, it's mental health awareness month!
It's extremely important to give yourself permission to play. I cannot stress this enough.
Self-care isn't just about eating right and exercise, it's also about feeding your mind and soul.
Creating engages your senses and transports you into the artist's "flow" - a state of mindfulness. You don't have to be an artist or produce an end product. It's about the process.
Do a little something for yourself everyday.
