people are lame
So, yeah the economy sucks. I am struggling right up there with the best of them. Whatever. That said....I chose the most beautiful pumpkins for decoration and carving. Just like I get every year--4 of them...for the 3 of us, and if we have an extra--like the year my sis was here, and she carved one, or if someone should happen to come over and hang with us. My favorite one was half green and had the best stem ever. 7 bucks. Whatever. That money could have gone to more practical endeavors, but you know it's Halloween god damned it!!! Our favorite. --and I bought them with food stamps....Government money put to good use. Anyway, I get home yesterday from work and I realize that there is something missing from the house. We have a ton of decorations (our grave yard looks pretty awesome this year) and they are not usually there, so I guess it took me a day or two to notice. GONE. Gone daddy gone....our pumpkins gone...away....
Lame. So now I have to choose more and I am sure the left overs are sucky. and I am thinking that perhaps this year we might have some people over to carve.....my kitchen isn't the most conducive to pumpkin guts but whatever.
On a positive note...the crack head assholes in the house next store were finally taken away in handcuffs in a drug bust yesterday. HOORAY!!!!
