writey write write - NaNoWriMo 2013
Currently sitting just the good side of 30K out of the 50K target, which for the stats fan means I am basically a day ahead of par. (and also about 8K further ahead then I was this time last year).
Strangely I am not enjoying this story as much. I don't think it is 'bad' as such, just that since I wanted to write 'grey morality' it has meant that I don't actually have any characters I really like and no one is standing up to be a hero.
Okay, that is the point. I AM after all trying for a Total Party Kill (tm) so deep down I know they are all going to DIE!!! HORRIBLY!!!! but, yeah, still.
I keep finding myself wanted to go back and write Regina, possibly because she has better legs...
(Oh, not all my characters this year are dull, Meth Lab Lego Woman (aka Vispacem the Landships chief engineer) is good fun... for someone based off a Lego figure... :D )
EDIT - oh yeah, and the point I was going to make. I have some 30K words, of which some 11K are purely on a sub plot character.
